Hytrel 6356 is a 63 nom.
Shore D, containing non-discoloring stabilizer, plasticiser free, high performance resin for injection molding and extrusion, outstanding mechanical properties up to 120'C and excellent oil, hydraulic fluids and grease resistance.
Hytrel 6356 is recommended for use in seals and a wide variety of industrial parts including gears and sprockets.
It is suitable for extrusion into tube and hose. |

The flexibility of Hytrel polyester elastomer is intermediate between that of rubber and engineering plastics.
The key characteristics of Hytrel 6356 are:
- Highly elastomeric within its design range without the use of plasticisers.
- Good combination of physical properties at temperatures up to 130'C(266'F) coupled with very good low temperature flexibility.
- Excellent resistance to swell in oils, hydraulic fluids and fuels.
- Good resistance to tear, impact, abrasion and creep. |
