Engelhard ASP hydrous aluminosilicates are used as extenders and additives in the coatings, inks, adhesives, plastics, rubber and paint industries.
They are available in a wide range of grades (see below) and offer many performance benefits, including excellent titanium dioxide extension, improved color, gloss control, dispersion, stain resistance and enamel holdout.
For example, in adhesive applications, ASP functional extenders improve and speed wet tack, increase viscosity, speed drying and reduce costs.
Coarse particle size, low brightness grade for use in glass reinforced thermoset systems where low resin demand, low shrinkage, controlled exotherm, crack resistance and good glass fiber dispersion are required, such as SMC and BMC compounds.
This product also is used in adhesives to improve tack and in paints to improve barrier properties. |
