Wingtack Extra is an aromatically modified C-5 hydrocarbon resin.
Light yellow and economical, Wingtack Extra possesses an excellent balance of tack, peel and cohesive strength, light color, low odor and volatility, low melt viscosity and low specific gravity
and very good viscosity and color stability at compounding temperatures.
This resin offers high compatibility with amorphous polypropylene, butyl rubber, EPDM, ethylene-alpha olefin copolymers, waxes, EVA copolymers with <28% vinyl acetate, low MW polyethylene, polyisoprene, and SIS block polymers.
It is also generally soluble in organic solvents having low to medium polarity.
Wingtack Extra is a general purpose tackifier for hot melt and solvent-borne pressure sensitive adhesives, a modifying resin for hot melt adhesives, roadmarking paints, EVA and wax coatings, and sealants, and a processing aid in rubber compounding. |
