Troythix LLBA
Ammonia dispersible acrylic copolymer
Troythix LLBA is a high molecular weight liquid polymer which develops unique rheological properties in systems based on PVA, acrylic and other aqueous emulsions, and latexes.
When incorporated in emulsion-based coatings and inks, Troythix LLBA imparts significant improvements in many application, appearance and resistance properties.
Troythix LLBA should be considered primarily as a formulation ingredient rather than an additive.
Troythix LLBA replaces other formulation components, including thickeners, glycols, coalescents and a portion of the latex vehicle.
Troythix LLBA is particularly useful as a means of upgrading PVA latex enamels, resulting in economical formulations with good application and film properties.
Typical applications include:
- Gloss, semi-gloss and eggshell latex enamels
- Latex floor enamels
- Water-based flexo inks
- Industrial roller-applied emulsion coatings
