Trilene 77 |
EPDM, Low Molecular Weight |
Trilene 77 is a high ethylene EPDM with low molecular weight, making it useful as a reactive plasticizer and process aid in many rubber applications. It was developed to provide a polymeric plasticizer in solid form for easy handling at room temperature. Handling techniques are just like those for other waxy solids used in the rubber industry. TRILENE 77 can be cut with a guillotine or knife, and will not stick to surfaces which it contacts. Trilene 77 has an Ethylene/Propylene ratio of 75/25 and contains 10.5% ENB by weight. It can be used in coatings, adhesives, and as an additive to improve properties and processing of higher molecular weight, solid polymers, such as Royalene EPDM. |
