Magnesium stearate

Synpro Magnesium Stearate 90 Lubricant is a high-performance lubricant and mold release agent used by the plastics industry. It is particularly recommended for use as a lubricant in ABS injection molding compounds.
Further uses include application as a dusting agent to prevent surface tackiness in rubber products, and as a flattening agent for paints, varnishes and lacquers.
The excellent surface covering ability of Synpro Magnesium Stearate 90 allows it to be used to enhance the flow of hydroscopic dry powders by adding about 0.1 to 0.5 percent to the powder.
Synpro Magnesium Stearate 90 is suitable for use in food packaging applications in accordance with FDA Code of Federal Regulations
Section 181.29, and other CFR Sections.
