Anti-Terra-202 |
Alkylammonium salt of a higher molecular weight polycarboxylic acid solution |
Wetting and dispersing additive to improve pigment wetting and stabilize the pigment dispersion. It is a controlled flocculating agent and is therefore preferably used in primers and undercoats. Anti-Terra-202 creates thixotropy and therefore prevents flooding and floating, settling of the pigments and reduces sagging. The additive can be used to gel organophilic bentonites and to produce pastes with improved flow, processability and storage stability. Anti-Terra-202 is suitable for medium to low polar solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems. Additionally, no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film was observed. Used in anti-corrosion primers, in many cases the protective properties are enhanced. Anti-Terra-202 is only available on the North American market. In other countries use Anti-Terra-203 which differs only in solvents. |
