Snow Tex 45 |
Anhydrous aluminum silicate |
SNOW TEX 45, calcined kaolin clay, has proven to be an excellent extender for titanium dioxide (white) pigments used in paints and coatings. This is because kaolin clay is chemically inert, has a high covering power, gives desirable flow properties, and reduces the amount of expensive pigments required. Its hardness also improves scrubbability and burnish resistance. In EPDM rubber wire insulation and other synthetic rubber, SNOWTEX 45 is a good choice because of its excellent electrical properties. |
