Santonox TBMC is a high activity non-staining, non-discoloring antioxidant for natural and synthetic elastomers and adhesives. It is also a stabilizer for thermoplastics such as ABS and polyolefins. - Santonox TBMC is a powerful antioxidant for use in applications requiring heat resistance. It is suitable for the protection of white and light-colored NR and synthetic rubber compounds, including latex formulations and adhesives. - Because of its low volatility, it has significant advantage over more highly volatile antioxidants such as BHT and quinones. - Santonox TBMC provides excellent protection against degradation catalyzed by heavy metals. - Additional uses of Santonox TBMC include stabilization of NBR elastomers, ABS, and polyolefins such as PE, PP, EPM, and EPDM. - Santonox TBMC is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, 175.105, 178.2010 and under BgVV XXI, Category 1 (EP only) and Categories 2-4. |
