Santicizer 143 Plasticizer is a proprietary, modified Triaryl Phosphate Ester, designed for use as a flame-retardant plasticizer for a variety of polymer systems. Although it is made from totally synthetic feedstocks, it closely matches the performance of Cresyl Diphenyl Phosphate (CDP). However, it does not produce the delayed neurotoxicity associated with Phosphate Esters made from Ortho Cresol or certain other ortho substituted phenols. Santicizer 143 is particularly suitable for use in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) applications, including calendered goods, extrusions, plastisol-derived products and cellular vinyls. It has plasticizing characteristics very similar to CDP. Compared to Santicizer 154 or the Isopropylated Triphenyl Phosphates, it has greater softening efficiency and imparts better low-temperature flexibility. |
