SAFOAM FPE-50 is a medium temperature olefinic masterbatch of an endothermic chemical nucleating and blowing agent for the creation of a foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications.
SAFOAM FPE-50 contains 50% SAFOAM FP powder and 50% special olefinic surfactants and carrier resins, which improve melt tension and melt flow.
It is commonly used in injection molding for the creation of structural foam composites.
In extrusion operations, it is used for the creation of very fine size cells in medium density extrudate.
Recommended for olefinic based thermoplastics that reach the decomposition temperature during injection molding or extrusion.
SAFOAM FPE-50 is commonly used to create a fine cellular structure for medium density foam applications.
SAFOAM FPE-50 can be used in various applications in conjunction with gas counter-pressure and gas assist molding technologies.
