RHEOLATE 204 is a 100% solids urethane-based associative rheology modifier, in powder form, designed for use in waterborne systems needing a reduced VOC or solvent-free formulation and where a powdered product is more convenient.
RHEOLATE 204 is ideal for use in paints containing small-particle-size emulsions and in high-volume-solids systems.
RHEOLATE 204 provides effective thickening in the high-shear range (ICI viscosity) and improves mid-shear viscosity, without the need for a secondary thickener.
Gloss and semi-gloss emulsion paints benefit from the more Newtonian flow obtained with RHEOLATE 204.
Tint base pigmented systems benefit from the improved color acceptance and paint stability achieved with RHEOLATE 204. |
