| Release Agent E-155 is a unique silicone polymer having improved release and lubricating properties. In most applications it exceeds the performance of standard silicone fluids. It offers cost savings to the end user by providing more effective performance at lower useage levels, by decreasing the number of rejected parts, or by enhancing the life of the end product. E-155 applied to metal cables provides excellent lubricity between the cable and a plastic sheath. It may be applied by dipping, brushing, or wiping. The longevity of the cable is greatly enhanced by E-155. E-155 is difficult to remove from parts. Solvent cleaning, sand blasting and caustic scouring are techniques used to remove E-155. Where parts must be painted the end user should assess whether E-155 will cause a paintablity problem. |
