PX-911, a mixed linear Di C9, C10, C11 phthlate made from 85% normal alcohol, is a primary plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride and copolymer resins, Mixed Alkyl Phthalate PX-911 offers excellent permanence, low volatility, good efficiency, and good retention of physical properties on aging vinyl applications. Heat and light stability of PX-911 is comparable to other phthalate esters made from branched chain alcohols. PX-911 is suggested for use in sheeting, film, extrusions and dispersions where good low-temperature properties are required and where low volatility insures a greater permanence. It is especially recommended for automotive applications for low fog properties and for wire and cable jacketing. |
