PROAID 9810 is a non-staining, non-blooming processing aid for unsaturated polymers and a peptizing agent for natural and polyisoprene rubber (and blends).
In addition to its peptizing effect, PROAID 9810 also provides longer scorch times, reducing the necessity of retarders.
PROAID 9810 also aids dispersion of fillers. PROAID 9810 is a zinc salt of fatty acids and will allow reduction or elimination of stearic acid.
PROAID 9810 improves processing and mold flow, and imparts some mold release benefits.
Normal use level of PROAID 9810 is 2-4 PHR.
Because it has unsaturation, PROAID 9810 is not recommended for use with peroxide cure systems. |
