Newtonian thermoplastic resin. Vinyl acrylate terpolymer.
PLIOWAY EC1 resin is a film forming newtonian resin soluble in low odour "aromatic free" solvents. The sophisticated selection of monomers in PLIOWAY EC1 gives it the exceptional solubility needed for special ldourless interior paints as well as the durability required ofr exterior masonry, concrete coatings and odourless multicolour paints.
Paint films based on PLIOWAY EC1 form by simple solvent evaporation with olw internal tension, making them ideal for the rapid renovation of lod "problematic" interior or exterior water based coatings. When used with non agressive "aromatic free" solvents, PLIOWAY EC1 formulations are ideal for direct application on solvent sensitive plastics like polystyrene tiles or polystyrene based thermal insulation : PLIOWAY EC1 paint films have excellent:
-Adhesion on a wide variety of substrates
-Stain covering power for interior paints (e.g.nicotine, smoke stains and dried water marks).
-Chemical resistance (acids,alkalis),for low odour interior paints, primers and water-proofing sealers.
-Barrier properties against water and CO2 gas diffusion, for "aromatic free" exterior concrete coatings.
-Colour retention i.e. non-yellowing of interior paints and balanced weathering propertiles for exterior paints. |
