Plasticizer REO |
Mixture of paraffinic/naphthenic process oils and petroleum sulfonates |
Plasticizer REO is a mixture of paraffinic/naphthenic process oils and petroleum sulfonates. REO is an effective plasticizer/process aid for synthetic and natural rubber compounds. Additionally, REO serves as a peptizer and has applications as a reclaiming agent/oil. The dosage for Plasticizer REO ranges from 3 phr to 25 phr depending on the degree of peptizing/plasticizing action needed. Plasticizer REO may be used to reduce compound viscosity and nerve and improve filler dispersion in dry compounds. |
