Stable in acid and alkaline aqueous systems, Octosol A-18 has many successful uses: emulsifying, dispersing, and foaming.
It is used as a textile softening agent, a suspending agent in emulsion polymerization, a foaming agent in latex compounds, and in cleaning and penetrating formulations.
Octosol A-18 disperses readily in water, becoming clear when heated.
Recommended use level 1.0 - 2.0 parts per hundred. |
