Novor vulcanizing agents are used to produce vulcanizates with exceptional reversion and high temperature aging resistance combined with excellent initial physical properties. They can be vulcanized at 160 - 180¡ÆC, thus obtaining high production rates. Novor cured Natural Rubber vulcanizates have much improved aging and reversion resistance as compared to conventional systems. Novor may also be mixed with sulfur cure systems to give modulus synergism and faster rate of cure. A unique aspect of some of these mixed systems is their capability of generating vulcanizates with properties virtually unaffected by temperature of cure, thereby enabling manufacturers to increase productivity by raising cure temperature. Typical advantages using Novor are: high strength vulcanizates with excellent reversion resistance, cures large articles uniformly, high aging resistance, excellent aged fatigue performance (hardness/modulus unchanged, fatigue resistance improves) and increased productivity. |
