A high molecular UV light absorber, is distingushed by its exceptionally low volatility, its broad range of UV light absorption and its excellent solubility in many polymers.
Advantages: Least volatile of hydroxy phenyl benzotriazoles commercially available.
Will not volatilize during processing at high temperatures, thus preventing plate out or coating of equipment.
Extremely stable at high temperatures used in processing engineering plastics allowing the recycling or reworking of scrap and tailing.
Highly effective in the long term protection of polymers against the degradative effects of UV radiation in outdoor weathering and against fluorescent light indoors.
Flows freely for easy dispersion into resins.
