MICROCAT-NPC is a specialty blend of nitrogen and phosphorus salts and microbial growth enhancers in time-release form for use in stimulating biological activity in soils and sludges. MICROCAT-NPC provides a unique, balanced blend of nitrogen and phosphorus for bioremediation programs.
It is formulated specifically for use with MICROCAT microbial inocula, buffering agents and surfactants to enhance the rate and consistency of biological processing of soils, sludges and contaminated waters.
MICROCAT-NPC releases its nutrients over a 3-4 month period at approximately 20'C.
In-situ and ex-situ bioremediation of organic contaminants in soils and sludges is becoming more popular.
They provide a low-cost, easy route to the removal of organic contaminants such as organic chemicals or fuels.
Contaminated soils and sludges are usually deficient in the nitrogen and phosphorus content necessary to stimulate and maintain high microbial activity.
MICROCAT-NPC makes up the deficiency with a mixture of environmentally compatible salts which release gradually over time. |
