Mackamide MO, an oleic diethanolamide, is oil soluble and water dispersible.
As such, it may be blended with hydrophobic surfactants to form oil in water or even water in oil emulsions.
Adding hydrophilic surfactants will aid in building viscosities.
In addition, Mackamide MO exhibits rust inhibition characteristics and thus is suitable for use in metalworking and slushing compounds. |
