Mackam 151L is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant that can be used to formulate mild shampoos and body washes.
It is suggested for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems.
In acidic systems, Mackam 151L behaves as a cationic surfactant, whereas, in alkaline systems, it has anionic properties.
Mackam 151L is stable over a broad pH range and is used as a surfactant in high electrolyte systems.
