Luviskol VA 73 W resin is a 50% solution of a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinylacetate in water.
Nonionic film-forming polymers for hair care
* Application:
The Luviskol VA grades are used in hair care and styling preparations as fixatives and film-forming agents. They possess excellent properties both for aerosol sprays and for non-aerosol products. The VA 37 and VA 55 grades are particularly suitable for hairsprays. For liquid setting lotions, gels and mousses, we can recommend the VA 64 and VA 73 grades. With increasing vinylpyrrolidone content, the Luviskol VA grades become more hygroscopic. This gives them stronger adhesion to the hair, but their washing-out and combing-out properties remain excellent because of the nonionic nature of the polymer. |
