Ultraviolet Light Absorber
Lowilite 20S is a water soluble ultraviolet light absorber belonging to the benzophenone class of UV absorbers.
Lowilite 20-S is a water soluble derivative of Lowilite 20. It is an ultraviolet light absorber for use in water based cosmetics, including sun tan lotions, shampoos, hair sprays and dyes, and wool fabrics. It is also used in polymers for the stabilization of coatings, photographic films and lithographic plates. Please contact your Great Lakes Chemical sales representative before using Lowilite 20-S in any cosmetic application.
The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
