KRONOS 2073 is a chloride process pigment designed for outstanding optical properties, dispersibility, stability and performance within a wide range of processing temperatures. PLASTICS & RUBBER: KRONOS 2073 pigment is the grade of choice for use in the plastics industry for most applications. KRONOS 2073 pigment will develop high brightness, blue color tone and provide excellent dispersion. It is particularly effective in the polyolefin extrusion-lamination process for film onto substrates processed at the highest temperatures. Its benefits include lack of lacing and non-porous compound and concentrate granules. KRONOS 2073 does not promote thermal discoloration nor yellowing in the presence of selected phenol base anti-oxidants and ultraviolet light absorbers. KRONOS 2073 is recommended for most thermoplastic and thermosetting resin systems including white rigid PVC piping, profiles and siding. |
