| Hi-Point PD-1 is a clear, mobile, liquid solution of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide diluted with a proprietary plasticizer to an active oxygen content of about 5.3%. It is used principally in the curing of promoted unsaturated polyester resins where an extended catalyst is desired for improved concentration control. This is particularly useful in hot weather, in very fast resin systems, and when gel time control is important. The viscosity of Hi-Point PD-1 is similar to the standard grades of Witco MEK peroxides so that flow rates and mixing characteristics will be similar. If a lower viscosity material is required, use Sprayset MEK peroxide. |
