Glomax LL is a calcined aluminum silicate, manufactured with accurate process controls to minimize grit (> 325 mesh particles). Glomax LL is ideally suited as pigment extender in paints and coatings and a filler in plastics and rubber. GLOMAX LL is calcined, fractionated kaolin with extremely low grit and controlled particle size. Excellent hiding, color, abrasion resistance, bead retention and improves solvent release in paint, excellent mechanical and electrical characteristics in electrical wire and cable compounds, abrasion resistance and processability in rubber, dimensional stability and improved fired properties in ceramics. - Paint - Interior & exterior flat paint, traffic paints. - Plastics - Electrical wire and cable compounds. - Rubber - Mechanical rubber compounds. - Ceramics - Whitewares, electrical porcelain, refractories, glazes |
