Halogenated Flame Retardant Great Lakes DP-45 is a liquid flame retardant plasticizer for polyvinylchloride adhesives, coatings and elastomers including SBR, Neoprene and EPDM. Great Lakes DP-45 is especially recommended as a flame retardant plasticizer for PVC applications such as wire and cable insulation, coated fabrics, film and sheeting. Great Lakes DP-45 is proven to be extremely effective in PVC jacketing for wire and cable meeting the plenum (UL910) standards. Great Lakes DP-45 can be used alone or, where allowed, in combination with antimony trioxide. Great Lakes DP-45 offers the following advantages: - High flame retardant efficiency - Good electrical and thermal properties - Good plasticizing properties and compatibility with primary plasticizers The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
