Halogenated Flame Retardant Great Lakes DE-62, proprietary Great Lakes DE-71TM blend, is a liquid flame retardant designed for use in flexible polyester polyurethane foam.Great Lakes DE-62 combines excellent performance in polyether foam formulations susceptible to IFD (Induced Force Deflection) variances with the attributes of Great Lakes DE-60F Special technology: - Superior resistance to foam discoloration - Resistance to smoldering ignition - Reduced effect on foam physical properties - Excellent hydrolytic stability Great Lakes DE-62 is also recommended for use in flexible polyether foam and has been observed, in some formulations, to be more efficient than Great Lakes DE-60F Special. The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
