Fyrolflex Flame Retardant Plasticizer Fyrolflex RDP, an oligomeric phosphate ester flame retardant plasticizer, was designed for use in engineering resin applications such as polyphenylene oxide and PC/ABS. Fyrolflex RDP has demonstrated effectiveness as a process aid in ABS, HIPS, and other high performance engineering plastic applications. Typically, RDP is used at 10 to 15 phr to provide flame retardancy to a variety of resins. When 1 to 2 phr of RDP is added to a formulated thermoplastic, especially for thinwall parts, it improves melt flow characteristics with minimal loss of dimensional stability. |
