Waxes, A-C Polyethylene for Plastics, High Density Oxidized Homopolymers A-C polyethylene and copolymers are low molecular weight polyethylenes, -lubricants, flow modifiers, release aids, dispersion aids in a wide variety of plastics applications. Nylon, Polyethylene, PVC, Injection Molded ABS, High Impact Polystyrene and ABS, Polypropylene, Thermoplastic Polyester, Thermosets, Color Concentrates The addition of A-C polyethylene or copolymers to plastic compounds improves the release properties of the thermoplastic resin during processing, increases output, improves the surface quality of the finished product, controls melt temperature, increases thermal stability, reduces machine torque and decreases power consumption during processing. A-C polyethylene and copolymers also have the ability to "wet out" and disperse inert materials, such as pigments, carbon black, solid thermal stabilizers, UV stabilizers, fillers, etc., through a plastics matrix. By improving dispersion of inert materials in the plastics matrix, the maximum performance of the additive in the plastic with the least amount of mechanical effort is obtained.// Rigid and Flexible PVC: A-C polyethylenes are highly efficient external lubricants for PVC. Clear, Rigid PVC: When combined with glycerol partial ester waxes, oxidized A-C polyethylenes provide a balanced lubrication system for clear, rigid PVC at a lower cost than other more traditional systems. Rigid PVC Exterior Profiles: Oxidized A-C polyethylenes provide unique properties in rigid PVC exterior profile applications. Nylon: A-C 540A copolymer functions as an excellent release aid and lubricant during the manufacturing of nylon extruded articles, films, and fibers. Low Density Polyethylene: A-C polyethylene and copolymers are compatible with all low density polyethylene resins. Injection Molded ABS: A-C polyethylenes are not only strong external lubricants for ABS resins, but improve quality of injection weld lines. High Impact Polystyrene and ABS: external lubricants in both. Polypropylene: internal lubricant. |
