F-2400 is a high molecular weight brominated polymeric flame retardant recommended for use in a broad range of thermoplastics, such as PBT, PET, polyamides (nylon 6 and 66), thermoplastic polyurethanes, alloys (e.g. PC/ABS) and styrenics (ABS, HIPS). The high molecular weight of F-2400 and its chemical structure offer the following advantages: - High thermal stability and thermal ageing - Excellent processability - Non-blooming - High UV stability Its high molecular weight and its convenient softening range (tg =150'C), make F-2400 a carrier of choice for various flame retardant masterbatches. |
