EPOLENE E-10 wax is a low molecular-weight, low-density, oxidized polyethylene. The low molecular weight and low softening point contribute to the production of stable, low color emulsions by both atmospheric (wax-to-water) and pressure emulsification methods. In water-emulsion floor finishes, it imparts good slip resistance, durability, toughness and durability to the polish film. These properties are often apparent at low wax concentrations. However, they are best seen where EPOLENE E-10 wax represents 20% or more of the total solids in the polish. Food packaging adhesives Pressure-sensitive adhesives Waxes |
