EPI-CURE 3055 is a low viscosity aliphatic amidoamine. This product is fully compatible with conventional epoxy resins and extends the pot life of the system. EPI-CURE 3055 can be combined with other curing agents or used as the sole crosslinker in different ratios to obtain a wide range of properties or curing rates.
EPI-CURE 3055 should be considered for room temperature curing applications for epoxy resins and in many applications where elevated temperature curing cycles can be used. This product is usually recommended for use with EPIKOTE 828 at a ratio of 50 parts per 100 parts of resin, but it can be used within a range of 40 to 100 parts per 100 parts of resin, depending on the desired mechanical, electrical and moisture resistance properties of the cured product. Suggested end uses for EPI-CURE 3055 include adhesives, laminating binders, electrical encapsulants, grouts and floor topping and repair compositions. |
