FINSOLV PL-355 easily self-emulsifies into microemulsions or can serve as an auxiliary emulsifier in standard micro-emulsion systems, a characteristic it shares with FINSOLV PL-62. Both FINSOLV PL-62 and FINSOLV PL-355 are effective additives to adjust and stabilize micro-emulsions.
Ongoing Applications Research at FINETEX indicate that FINSOLV PL-62 and FINSOLV PL-355 are extremely valuable in the preparation of clear, aqueous based emollient systems including clear sunscreen preparations, transparent skin care lotions and cremes, and transparent hair care products. In this latter category, shampoos, shampoo-conditioners and after-shampoo conditioning products are possible which will deliver, upon rinsing, emollient conditioning to hair which will enhance luster and combability. |
