FINSOLV 116 is the newest addition to the hydrophobic series of FINSOLV Benzoate Esters. FINSOLV 116 is distinguished by its characteristic of being a solid at room temperature which melts approximately at body temperature (m.p. = 40'C). Having all of the aesthetic and functional properties typical of this class of compounds, FINSOLV 116 additionally provides the benefits delivered by a low melting solid in skin care applications.
All solid delivery systems are improved with the addition of FINSOLV 116. Antiperspirant and deodorant sticks, lipsticks and other lip products and high viscosity cremes and lotions show improved stability and integrity with addition of FINSOLV 116 at the 3-5% level, FINSOLV 116 dramatically improves the spreadability of skin care products and cosmetics while offering low toxicological impact and a modern, dry velvety feel. |
