ELFTEX 8 is an easy to disperse, medium structure, regular color pigment black suitable for printing inks and other applications.
* Printing Inks: ELFTEX 8 is a medium structure utility black suitable for web offset printing inks and a broad field of liquid ink applications. It provides medium intensity while maintaining good dispersibility.
* Other Applications: In addition to Printing Ink applications, this pigment black is used also for pigmentation in Toners.
The dispersibility of ELFTEX 8 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. A good balance of jetness and ease of dispersion can be obtained with this carbon black when compared to regular color blacks with similar surface area but lower structure.
ELFTEX 8 is a fluffy pigment black with a typical bulk density of 11 lbs/ft3. |
