Dynamar FC 5155 |
|
Dynamar FC 5155 is a specialty elastomer additive designed to adhere Dyneon fluoroelastomers and Dyneon THV fluorothermoplastics to various hydrocarbon elastomer substrates. A strong bond is often the most difficult step involved in the joining of chemically dissimilar materials. Best results are normally obtained when both substrates are in an "uncured" state prior to the bonding/curing step. FC 5155 has been used successfully to obtain bonds between Dyneon fluoroelastomers and polychloroprene, chlorinated polyethylene, nitrile, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, polyepichlorohydrin homopolymer and copolymer, as well as between Dyneon THV luorothermoplastic and polyepichlorohydrin homopolymer and copolymer. |
