STEV-TEX NAP SOFT is a very unique blended softener based upon a hydrophilic silicone and a highly crystalline amide wax.
STEV-TEX NAP SOFT will provide a soft delicate handle when applied via exhaust at low levels, or a full "buttery" handle when used at high levels.
This silicone- based product leaves fabrics with excellent absorbency unlike most amino-functional emulsions.
This feature makes STEV-TEX NAP SOFT an excellent choice for softening and lubricating "active sport" fabrics (requiring moisture wicking) as well as pure finish of terry fabrics such as toweling.
Because STEV-TEX NAP SOFT does not affect the absorbency of treated fabrics like most cationic crystalline wax or silicone based softeners, the product is an excellent softener for use in prepared for printing goods.
Due to the ratio balance of silicone in STEV-TEX NAP SOFT, the product is extremely effective is napping, brushing, and sueding.
STEV-TEX NAP SOFT will also make an excellent needle lubricant.
Tests run in the lab as well as in the mill have shown STEV-TEX NAP SOFT to have no adverse effect on sublimation of dyed goods.
These same tests have shown that STEV-TEX NAP SOFT will not cause shade change to dyed goods, nor will it cause yellowing on whites when used at normal application levels.
STEV-TEX NAP SOFT finish is durable to multiple launderings on polyester, nylon, cotton, acetate, rayon and blended fabrics.
Durability on cotton is improved when STEV-TEX NAP SOFT is applied with resin catalyst system. |
