Application
Intermediate for drugs (e.g. Sulfadimidine/Sulfamethazine/SM2, Sulfadimidine Sodium/ SM2-Na, Mequindox & Nicarbazine)
For synthesizing heterocycles (isoxazoles, pyrazoles, pyrimidines, pyridines etc.)
For preparation of metal acetylacetonates as catalysts
Production of anti-corrosion preparations (e.g. Potassium Sorbate)
Its peroxide is used as radical initiator for polymerisations
Synthesis of vitamin B6 and vitamin K
Intermediate for pesticides (e.g. fungicides, sulfonylurea-herbicides)

Appearance: Clear colorless transparent liquid
Uses: mainly used analytic reagents to synthesize ointment. E.g. used as refined solvent for Fluocinonide and its unguent, also it can be applicated as industrial electronic solvent.
