				| Finawax E | | | | Erucamide | | | | cis-13-Docosenamide (Erucamide) | | | | 112-84-5 | | | | When Finawax-E is mixed with polymer, it reduces friction between the polymer and processing equipment and also between the polymer to polymer inter-surfaces. Due to its migration, a thin film of Finawax-E is formed on the surface of the finished product and this provides the slip effect and antiblocking performanve.
Finawax-E has a lower volatile and better high temperature performance than Finawax-OK or O (Oleamide). This makes it particularly more useful for PP & PE films applications because Finawax-E allows higher processing temperatures.
The longer carbon chain of Finawax-E causes a delayed and reduced migration in comparison to Finawax-OK or O, which is a required
property, if printing or sealing is carried out directly after processing the film.
Finawax-E also having an excellent cell size control effect including slip and release performance for LDPE foamed grades.
