The Unitol C, Unitol CE and Unitol O lines comprise ethoxylated fatty alcohols obtained from the reaction between cetyl, cetyl stearyl and oleyl alcohols from a natural origin and ethylene oxide (EO), with different number of ethylene oxide adducts.
As a result of the number of EO units and starting alcohol, the products obtained exhibit different HLB values (hydrophilic-lypophilic balance) and physical properties, thus allowing for the choice of a product for each application. |
