Butylglycol Acetate is obtained from the reaction of monoethylene glycol butyl ether(Butylglycol) and acetic acid.
It is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild odor, soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents.
It has a low volatility at room temperature.
Butylglycol Acetate also present good coalescence properties for latex and acrylic/vinyl paint formulations. |
