Lily Aldehyde is a clear, slightly yellow liquid aromatic product. It has a sweet, refreshing and strong radiant floral aroma, recalling linden blossoms. In spite of its similarity to hydroxycitronellal and cyclamen aldehyde, Lily Aldehyde, when used in small proportions, offers a more powerful, diffusive and tenacious floral effect. Lily Aldehyde is also used substantially as an intermediate for the production of Fenpropimorph (Cobel), a biodegradable fungicide. Lily Aldehyde could not be found in nature. |
