CAMEL-CAL ST is a premium, ultra-fine particle size, beneficiated, wet ground marble. It has been surface modified to facilitate dispersions for plastics such as polyvinyl chloride and polyolefins. Improved impact strength and stiffness can be achieved using a ultra-fine CAMEL-CAL ST. Productivity gains may also be realized due to increased thermal conductivity. CAMEL-CAL ST is often used as an economic replacement to more costly precipitated calcium carbonates and silicates. |
