Reactive silicone intermediate for coil coatings, appliance finishes and other finishes where improved heat or weathering resistance is needed.
Typically reacted with saturated polyesters to form silicone-modified copolymers with 20 to 50 percent silicone content.
Dow Corning 3074 Intermediate is a methoxy-functional low-molecular weight, siliconereactive intermediate.
It chemically reacts with organic resins that contain active hydroxyl groups.
