Mackam OCT-LS is a approx. 50% active acqueous low salt solution of octyl betaine.
It acts as an effective hydrotrope to couple nonionic surfactants into high electrolyte systems.
IT can tolerate up to 25% sodium hydroxide and is a modest foamer.
Mackam OCT-LS will not hydrolyze, even in strong mineral acids.
It is useful for producing highly built cleaners with good detergency and high cloud points. |
