Non-ionic, 35% active emulsion based on medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane.
DOW CORNING 36 Emulsion has been formulated specially as a release agent/lubricant in a wide variety of cases, the following are examples of many uses for this wellestablished product.
- Mould release agent.
- Release agent for rubber stoppers, gaskets on screw tops and bungs.
- Release agent for tubes used in forming polyethylene and other plastic bags.
- Release agent for extruded rubber parts and conveyor belts.
- Textile lubricant, reducing number of "runs" in hosiery manufacture.
- Textile yarn and thread lubricant, reducing needle wear and temperature, hence breakage of yarn/thread.
- Lubricant for glass fabric used in exhaust filters. |
