High strength silicone mold making rubber suited for the reproduction of jewelry and for production tooling.
Silastic E is recommended for use with polyester or plaster and can be used with rigid and foam polyurethanes, epoxies and low-melt metals.
SILASTIC E is suited for prototype design and production tooling.
SILASTIC E is a two-component material consisting of SILASTIC E Base, which when mixed with SILASTIC E Curing Agent, cures at room temperature by an addition reaction.
A range of materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: plaster, polyurethane, polyester and other reactive resins are the materials typically used.
